Hipoglós® contains zinc in its formula, which acts by neutralizing skin irritants and facilitating repair and healing. Zinc oxide prevents the modification of normal local skin acidity and, together with oil-based vitamin A and D, forms a protective skin barrier against urine, feces and perspiration. Hipoglós® helps protect the skin by reducing friction and forming a protective layer (especially between the skin and clothing or diapers).
The daily use of Hipoglós® at each diaper change reduces the occurrence of diaper rash.
Before changing the diaper, wash your hands thoroughly.
Thoroughly cleanse the skin, apply a generous amount of Hipoglós® and massage gently to spread the ointment, forming a protective layer over the entire diapered area to prevent urine and feces from coming into contact with the skin, especially at night.
Wash your hands immediately after applying the ointment.
Hipoglós® is contraindicated for people who are allergic to vitamin A or D or to any ingredient in the product.
PRECAUTIONSThe best way to treat and prevent diaper rash is to change the diaper frequently, which avoids prolonged contact with urine and feces.
Hipoglós® does not treat infections caused by bacteria or fungi.
In order not to irritate the skin due to mechanical friction during diaper changes and cleaning of the perineum, the complete removal of Hipoglós® at each diaper change is not mandatory.
